Hi! My name is Sarah Claire Bernhardt and I am an Exercise and Sports Science major at the University of North Carolina. I have always been a student interested in the Spanish language and culture, and because of this I am now a Spanish minor as well. A few years ago, I got the chance to study abroad in Salamanca, Spain with 7 other students from my high school, and it was an amazing experience. I learned a great deal about the language through my classes, and I also learned a lot about the country through all of my excursions with my group. I even stayed with a host family, which helped improve my Spanish speaking and listening skills. I really felt immersed in the country at this time and it was an experience unlike anything else. For this reason, I chose to share with you some of the important cultural aspects of this amazing country. Hope you enjoy!
