My name is Hinal Patel and I am a sophomore economics major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I spent one week in Panama over Spring Break working with a non-profit known as Global Brigades. My primary job was to provide financial education to indigenous communities, predominately in the region of Darien. I learned a great deal from this experience and met some amazing people who have convinced me that I need to return to Panama soon.
