My name is Jonathan Buechner and I am a current Junior at UNC studying Contemporary European Studies with minors in French and History. My mom’s side of the family comes from Colombia, Bogotá specifically, which has informed my understanding and appreciation of Colombian culture. I have visited multiple times and always appreciate how welcoming everyone is, and how delicious the food is! I have mostly only explored Bogotá and small towns such as Villa de Leyva, but I hope to explore other cities such as Cartagena, Medellín and Barranquilla.
