Regina Andrade is currently a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is majoring in Global Studies and Economics and plans to graduate during the spring of 2012. Her main interests include traveling and learning about new cultures. She travelled to Uganda during the summer of 2010 on an internship through AGRADU, which is an organization through the Campus Y. On this internship, she worked in a health clinic and a microfinance program in a village called Kyetume, which is about an hour outside of the capital of Uganda. She learned a lot about the Ugandan culture and its values. She says the most important part of her trip was meeting people. With these artifacts she hopes to make a small representation of the Ugandan culture.
